Practise Your Approach & Volley At Home
In this video, I show you an approach & volley but the drill is all about your volley. You have very little time to recover after the approach so it’s an ideal drill to practise a compact action on your volley.
When volleying against a wall, the ball rebounds back at you pretty fast so it’s a good test of your reactions & technique. Use the chopper/continental grip & keep your wrist firm. Bend your knees for the low balls & contact out in front of your body. See if you can make two or three volleys after your approach.
